Abstract:		 A watching brief was carried out during the exhumation of two areas within the cemetery of St Marks Church. Grave monuments within the graveyard were recorded, followed by the recording of coffins and skeletal remains during each exhumation and the subsequent rapid osteological assessment of any 19th century remains.
