Abstract:		 A watching brief was undertaken during ground work in advance of the remodelling of the golf course. There was a potential for uncovering Roman and possibly earlier features, however no archaeology was observed due to the limited depth of soil removal. Post Medieval pottery sherds and tile fragments in the topsoil were the only finds recovered.
