The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A program of works was undertaken by AOC Archaeology Group on the site of 141-142 Drury Lane, City of Westminster, London. The first phase of work was in the form of a watching brief and involved the monitoring of six hand-excavated 1m x1m engineering trenches. The second phase of work required the excavation of two 2m x 2m trenches, necessary because of the possible adverse impact the installation of two new lifts would have upon any archaeological remains. The finally phase of works was a continual watching brief on new service trenches. In both watching briefs and the excavation, both Saxon and post medieval archaeology was recorded.
