Abstract: |
In September 2005 an archaeological watching brief was undertaken by AOC Archaeology Group at 39 High Street, Fareham, Hampshire on behalf of Mrs R. L. Wareham. This was done to assess the impact of the proposed development plan on any surviving archaeological remains. The development involved the ground reduction of part of the garden, and it was this part of the development that was subject to the watching brief. Ground reduction uncovered part of a small brick structure in the northeastern corner of the site resembling a soakaway and a small brick and concrete path running north-south along the site''s western side. |
