Abstract:		 In October 2004 Archaeological Services and Consultancy Ltd. (ASC) undertook an archaeological evaluation on land adjacent to Stoke Road, Bletchley. The site was located c.1km to the south of the site of the Roman town of Magiovinium and immediately south of a field in which a number of Roman coins have been discovered. A total of four machine cut evaluation trenches were excavated and revealed no archaeological features or artefacts. It is believed that the absence of archaeological features and artefacts plus the presence of ridge and furrow combined with current landuse may reflect a longstanding agricultural utilisation of the land.
