Abstract: |
Five evaluation trenches excavated at 103 St. Peters Road, West Lynn, Norfolk in advance of a housing development. Three of these trenches were devoid of any archaeological features or deposits. Archareological features which probably date to the medieval period were identified in Trench 3 comprising a partially preserved oven and a gully. It is possible that these features were assocuiated with salt-making. A trench located close to the street frontage contained floor surfaces associated with post-medieval cottages. |
