Abstract: |
Continuous archaeological monitoring of small area of groundworks at moated site ahead of the construction of a swimming pool. The site area lies near to the anticipated northwest corner of the original medieval moat (now partially filled in). The outcome of the monitoring indicates that the excavated area actually avoided the original line of the moat. No archaeological features or finds were located. |
