Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring of topsoil stripping before mineral extraction at Bulls Lodge Quarry, Boreham, Essex in 2005 and 2006 recorded prehistoric, medieval and post-medieval/modern remains. The prehistoric features comprised a small number of Late Bronze Age pits, and the medieval remains consisted of 12th to 13th-century pits and enclosures to either side of an east-west trackway. |
