Abstract: |
Topsoil stripping at Bulls Lodge Quarry, Boreham in 2005 and 2006 uncovered prehistoric, medieval and post-medieval/modern features and finds. The main discoveries were medieval enclosures to either side of a ditched trackway, and a small post-medieval/modern enclosure containing a sequence of timber buildings. The prehistoric features comprised a small number of pits and an urned cremation burial. |
