The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Two trenches were excavated as part of an archaeological evaluation of the proposed site of the new museum building at West Stow Country Park. This revealed the remains of an ancient occupation soil, which produced two sherds of Early Saxon stamped pottery. The occupation soil had been truncated by ploughing and occurred only in within hollows. Post holes and possible pits were also found suggesting that the sampled area was within the spread of the Anglo-Saxon settlement site.
