Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out between May 2003 and January 2005 on the southern extension at Earls Barton Quarry. A circular early Bronze Age ring ditch enclosure, with food vessel sherds from the ditch, may have been a funerary monument. A nearby cremation is undated. In addition, two palaeochannels and a medieval pathway were recorded. |
