Abstract:		 Archaeological Investigations Ltd. was commissioned to undertake archaeological monitoring of ground works prior to the construction of a boundary fence. The area being excavated is situated to the east of the upstanding remains of the Blackfriars Dominican Friary, which is a Scheduled monument (No. HWCM 3984) and Scheduled Ancient Monument (No. 13610). Due to the shallow depth and the previous disturbance, no archaeological features or finds were recovered.
