Abstract: |
Excavations by Wildfire TV for Channel 4''s Time Team in conjunction with Oxford Archaeology took place on August bank holiday 2006 at Windsor Castle Upper Ward as part of the Queen''s 80th birthday celebrations. Three trenches were dug. Evidence was found for Edward III''s Round Table building and the original location of Charles II''s equestrian statue base. |
