Abstract: |
Archaeological building recording was carried out for Mr M Wenner in August 2007 at a field barn near Slaidburn, Lancashire (NGR: SD 68565294), before its conversion to holiday accommodation. The barn is four bays long and probably of late eighteenth or early nineteenth century date, and although it formerly contained a shippon this has been removed. The records made include a ground floor plan, a section drawing and photographs, as well as a written account. |
