Abstract: |
An evaluation on the site of the Old Grange, Littledean, Gloucestershire in response to a plaaning application to site a mobile home and horse meange on the site. The area investigated consisted of four targeted trenches 10m x 1.8m. Despite historical evidence that the site was owned by Flaxley Abbey and occupied in the medieval period, all features discovered related to the later post-medieval house, walled garden and later activities on the site. |
