Abstract: |
Mr. and Mrs. Lee, the owners commissioned Archenfield Archaeology to carry out a background architectural characterization survey to address the issues raised in relation to the status of a lean-to barn. These issues relate to a planning application submitted by the owners to the Forest of Dean District Council. Huw Sherlock and Robert Williams of Archenfield Archaeology made a site visit on 21/10/02. A photographic and descriptive survey of the barn in question and the entire complex of buildings were made. This document details the results of this initial survey together with the results of a basic cartographic and documentary search. |
