Abstract: |
An archaeological excavation in advance of housing development on land off of Chalkstone Way, Haverhill identified evidence of three phases of limited activity in the prehistoric and post-medieval periods. Prehistoric features consisted of two isolated Bronze Age pits and a scatter of Early Iron Age pits and a single ditch. The post-medieval activity consisted of a series of linear parallel ditches, thought to relate to agricultural drainage. |
