Abstract:		 Between March 2007 and February 2008 Archaeological Services and Consultancy Ltd carried out a watching brief at 63-65 Castle Street, Luton during groundworks for the conversion of the existing houses into flats and the construction of new dwellings. No significant archaeological finds or features were observed, and the site appears to have been heavily disturbed during the construction of the houses on Castle Street in the late 19th to early 20th century
