Abstract:		 An Archaeological Watching Brief on land adjacent to an early medieval fenland sea bank was carried out to monitor the excavation of foundations for a residential development. No features of archaeological interest were observed in the sections of the groundworks and other than several sherds of post-medieval pottery no finds were recovered from the site.
