Abstract: |
An Archaeological watching brief to monitor groundworks during a residential development on Blackfriars Road, King''s Lynn located an early 20th-century rubbish pit on the edge of a deep alluvial silt deposit representing the line of a navigable watercourse, the Fisher Fleet, now located beneath Blackfriars Road. Other than the modern rubbish pit and its contents no features or finds of archaeological interest were observed during the watching brief. |
