Abstract:		 During May and June 2007, an evaluation was undertaken at Clifton Sewage Works, Bedfordshire, in advance of upgrading of the works. Aerial photographs of the area surrounding the sewage works show a concentration of cropmarks. It was considered likely that prehistoric ditches associated with these cropmarks may have been uncovered within the development area. However no archaeological features were found within the evaluation trenches.
