Abstract: |
Mid Beds Council granted planning permission for the construction of two new classrooms at Robert Bloomfield Middle School, Shefford. It is located in the vicinity of a known Romano-British settlement, possibly a villa. Albion carried out both an evaluation and open area excavation. The investigations located a single Romano-British boundary ditch and recovered a moderate quantity of domestic debris, principally pottery. |
