Abstract:		 In March 2008 ASC Ltd undertook an archaeological evaluation at 59 Station Road, Toddington, Bedfordshire in advance of construction of new dwellings at the site. A stone lined well of probable 18th century date was observed. This was located in an area proposed as a car park in the new development. The well had already been damaged by previous development on the site to a depth of 1m below ground level, and the surviving parts are below the formation level of the proposed carpark. No other significant archaeological features were observed and the archaeological impact of this development is therefore considered to be low.
