Abstract: |
The excavation revealed evidence for the presence of a series of boundary ditches orientated NNE-SSW, of Iron Age date. These may represent shifting boundarys or form part of a trackway (possibly of several phases). A Saxon SFB (sunken feature building) and pit of possible Saxon date predated evidence for post-medieval field systems. |
