Abstract: |
An archaeological desk based assessment was undertaken of the former White Horse Inn, North William Street, Perth. This study revealed that the site appeared to lie just outside the western boundary of the medieval Dominican Friary on land probably given over to rough grazing. During the 18th and early 19th centuries the area on and around the site was subject to the expansion of both residential and industrial development. The site was deemed to have little or no archaeological potential. |
