Abstract: |
Level 3 building survey of redundant farm buildings and farmhouse at Whitrigg Hall prior to conversion and renovation to 5 dwellings. The double-pile house has a date stone of 1708, but it probably dates from the early 19th century, incorporating earlier fabric. The adjoining farm buildings may be contemporary. A range of farm buildings to the south were added during the 19th century and display a focus on stock housing and fodder storage. |
