Abstract: |
The fourteen evaluation trenches had to be located away from areas sensetive to the presence of a protected species of Newt and upstanding huts which are known to contain asbestos. The only type of feature identified throughout work on the site were ditches with various functionality. All of the ditches were aligned North-West to South-East, and have been interpreted as furrows, drainage ditches and some may possibly have acted as land boundaries. |
