Abstract:		 Thirty-five trial trenches were excavated across the development area at Land at Mosstodloch, Fochabers totalling 3628m2. Nine pits were recorded. The pits varied in size, form and fills. The function of these pits was not determined through excavation and no artefacts were recovered. The pits show no spatial patterning indicative of structures, although the proximity and morphology of pits 10002, 10004 and 10008 may suggest they are related.
