Abstract: |
November to December 2006 and May 2007. Oxford Archaeology carried out a field evaluation at Folly Farm, Faringdon, Oxfordshire. The evaluation was carried out in two phases. The first phase of work consisted of trenches 5 to 24 in 2006 and the second phase consisted of trenches 1 to 4 in 2007. The evaluation revealed little evidence of significant archaeological features or deposits with the exception of one undated possible ditch. Some evidence for 19th and 20th century landfill was also recovered. |
