Abstract:		 An Archaeological Impact Assessment and field walkover survey was carried out on land to the north west of Middlewick, Essex in advance of proposed construction of nine wind turbines at Middlewick on the Dengie Peninsula. The area of the proposed development lies within a larger archaeological landscape dating back to the Neolithic, Bronze and Iron Age.
