The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological trench evaluation on the line of a putative leat ahead of a hedge translocation at land adjacent to Knowle Terrace, Walkhampton, Devon was undertaken by AC archaeology during December 2009. Two trenches were hand-excavated totaling 4m in length with each trench 0.5m wide. The trenches were excavated onto natural subsoil at a maxumum depth of 0.37m through topsoil and root-disturbed natural subsoil. No archaeological features or deposits were exposed.
