Abstract: |
A single evaluation trench measuring 5m x 2m was excavated in the rear yard of 3 Prissick Street, Hartlepool. This lies within the precint of the Anglo-Saxon monastery at Hartlepool and within the later medieval town and port. The site was heavily disturbed by the basement of a former 19th century terraced house. There were no finds or features of earlier date. |
