Abstract: |
During September and October 2008 a programme of ground reduction took place across the site. A series of 19th century masonry structures were recorded. These structures had formed part of the Haden and Woodfin's (later known as St George's) Foundry, known from documentary sources (Rogers 1984, 115-6) to have been established on the site in c 1825. |
