Abstract:		 In March 2010, Archaeological Solutions Ltd (AS) conducted an archaeological evaluation on land west of Robingoodfellows Lane, March, Cambridgeshire (NGR TL 4136 9782). The evaluation was conducted in advance of a proposed residential development. It was required in compliance with a planning condition attached to planning approval for a residential development of three bungalows, required by the local planning authority (East Cambridgeshire Planning Ref. F/YR09/0638/F). The site had the potential for archaeological remains, dating from the prehistoric period. In the event the evaluation revealed modern features: three land drains, four postholes and the remains of former farm buildings. No other archaeological features were present, and no archaeological finds were recovered. The fen edge was evident.
