Abstract: |
A Level 4 standing building survey was commissioned by East Lothian Council prior to re-harling the building. The elevations fronting the High Street and Silver Street were subjected to laser scanning. The rear of teh building was recorded using REDM and hand drawing. Dendrochronology was applied to three samples of oak protruding from the Silver Street elevation and confirmed a felling date of sometime between AD 1524 and AD 1539. |
