The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A desk-based assessment and field evaluation were carried out at Ansell Road Gasworks, Warwick. The site was used for gas production from 1822 to 1953. The field evaluation located the possible remains of the 1822 retort house and various structures relating tot the late 19th/early 20th century central retort house, gasometers and associated buildings. All structures revealed were located just beneath the present tarmac yard surface and were in a state of good preservation.
