Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was carried out by Northamptonshire Archaeology in Bond Street, Coventry, during the excavation of a shaft to facilitate repairs to a deep bored sewer. A section of the late medieval town wall with a possible foundation for a buttress was exposed, together with the buried medieval topsoil from the time of construction.
