Abstract: |
Archaeological building recording was carried out for CRS Plant Ltd in March 2008 at a farm called Bough Gap, near Trawden in east Lancashire (NGR: SD 91564006), before the conversion of a barn to dwellings. There are six historic stone buildings within the farmstead including the large barn (which was much altered in the 1930s), an unusual adjoining cartshed, a former cottage, pig-sties, covered middenstead and shippon, most of which date from the 19th century. This record includes floor plans, section drawings, photographs, and written descriptions. |
