Abstract:		 NAU Archaeology was commissioned to undertake an archaeological watching brief on the excavation of a french-drain to the rear of 12a The Close, Norwich. The floor and wall of a 19th-century outhouse, a 19th-century garden wall and a sequence of post-medieval and modern make-up deposits were identified, characterised and recorded. No finds were recovered.
