Abstract:		 In March 2010, Archaeological Solutions Ltd carried out an archaeological trial trench evaluation of land south-east of Ravenhill Drive, March, Cambridgeshire. The evaluation revealed pits, ditches, gullies, a modern wall and paving. The majority of features were undated or modern. One ditch contained a Roman sherd which was slightly abraded. The site had the potential for medieval remains given its location within the western bounds of the town. Extensive Iron Age and Romano-British activity has also been found on the March fen island.
