Abstract: |
An Archaeological Watching Brief was undertaken to meet a condition placed on planning consent, Application Number 09/00005/FUL. The condition consisted of monitoring the excavation of a ménage on land southeast of the Old School, Strelley, Nottinghamshire. The work revealed a 2m wide linear feature that is believed to represent a foundation of a probable wagonway. This was aligned east-west and probably accessed the Strelley shaft mines to the east. |
