Abstract:		 This archaeological desk-based assessment relates to a proposed development at Regent Circus in Swindon, Wiltshire. Searches of national and county databases, the study of maps, aerial photographs and written sources, have identified 66 sites of archaeological importance. The PDA has uncertain impacts on fifteen locally important sites. Two sites are considered to have neutral impacts and these are a Listed Building and a Registered Park.
