The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was conducted by NAU Archaeology on behalf of Cripps Developments Ltd in April 2010 ahead of an application for planning permission to build residential properties on the site. The four resulting trenches revealed several pits of possible prehistoric date as well as at least three pits dating to the 2nd century, all of which were sealed by a dark earth material also of 2nd-century date. Additionally an accumulation of soils dating to the early to mid medieval period was identified in the north-eastern corner of the site along with the remnants of a small possible medieval or post medieval structure
