Abstract: |
April 2006. Oxford Archaeology carried out a field evaluation at Tewnells Lane near Lichfield as part of the West Coast Main Line upgrade. The evaluation consisted of 3 trenches and revealed a single post-medieval quarry pit dug for gravel extraction. The trenches had been subject to bio-turbation and localised plough scarring. |
