Abstract: |
April 2006. Oxford Archaeology carried out an archaeological field evaluation as part of the West Coast Main Line upgrade at Sites 38 - 40, Whittington, Staffordshire. The evaluation consisted of 6 trenches and revealed a single linear feature likely to be related to recent land drainage. Other features encountered are likely to be the result of geological processes or bio-turbation |
