Abstract:		 During November and December 2008 a watching brief was maintained during the excavation of footings in advance of construction of a children's centre at Leverstock Green Primary School, Green Lane, Hemel Hempstead. The groundworks were monitored over five visits. No archaeological features or artefacts were observed within the development area.
