Abstract:		 In early January 2007 Archaeological Services and Consultancy Ltd undertook a strip and record excavation on part of the former site of First Church of Christ Scientist at the junction of Corporation Street with Castle Street in High Wycombe. The work demonstrated that the site had been extensively terraced when it was developed for the church. Due to this truncation no archaeological features were detected nor were any artefacts detected in the overlying made up ground.
