Abstract:		 In March 2008, ASC Ltd undertook a programme of archaeological evaluation and sieving at land to the rear of 34 Oxford Road, Stone, Buckinghamshire, in advance of plans for the residential development of the site. A total of thirteen trenches were excavated, targeted on the proposed development. No archaeological finds or features were uncovered within the evaluation trenches. The sieving process recovered some modern pottery, a possible medieval body sherd, a piece of flint debitage, and a well worn flint end-scraper.
