Abstract:		 During August 2007 Archaeological Services and Consultancy Ltd conducted a watching brief at a site on the corner of Oxford Road and Union Street, Luton, on behalf of Hill Partnership (Western) Ltd, during ground reduction, and the excavation of test pits for piled foundations, and drainage trenches. Cellars dating to the late 19th or early 20th century, along with two associated wells were observed. No finds or features pre-dating the 19th century were observed.
