Abstract: |
A three trench evaluation on a residential property. Trench 1 contained an already known medieval/post medieval tile kiln in which a small sondage was excavated. It showed good preservation below ground decending for 0.95m. A contemporaneous large ditch was also found with one recut containing possible burnt material from the kiln. A later post medieval gully was found cutting the ditch and it also cut a pit in Trench 2. |
